Mayor Sun Shimura attended the Provincial Land Use Committee (PLUC) deliberation of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) of the Municipality of Daanbantayan for the period 2023-2032.
Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Dale Mito Diano presented the CLUP before the PLUC on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Seda Central Bloc Cebu.
The PLUC is headed by the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator with members from various government agencies, including the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development, Department of Tourism Regional Office, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of the Interior and Local Government Provincial Office, Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Office, Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office, and Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
The CLUP is a document that serves as the primary basis and framework of the local government unit for the future use of available land resources within its territorial jurisdiction. 5/26/2023
