The joint meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) was held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Municipal Function Hall.
Presided by MPOC Chairman, Mayor Sun Shimura, highlights of the meeting were the peace and order accomplishments of PNP, Coast Guard, BJMP, Bantay Dagat, BFP, Traffic, and MSWDO for CY 2022.
Fifteen MPOC Resolutions were passed, including the installation of CCTV cameras at Municipal Police Station and procurement of body worn cameras, wheel clamps for traffic violators, and motorcycle vehicles for Bisdak Cops operations.
Also discussed were updates on Balay Silangan, Yakap-Bayan Program and regular drug test for CBDRP candidates.
