Mayor Sun Shimura and Congresswoman Janice Salimbangon led the blessing and turnover ceremony of the newly built multi-purpose building of Barangay Calape on Friday, October 21, 2022.
The P4.9 million project was funded by the office of Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. through the efforts of Congw. Salimbangon.
Construction of the facility was under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) District Engineering Office with contractor Bantay Construction.
The inauguration was attended by Calape Barangay Captain Herminia De Castro, DPWH representatives, Engr. Myrna Rodrigo of Bantay Construction, Municipal Administrator Dr. Hazel Malaga, and Barangay Calape officials.
