Mayor Sun J. Shimura delivers his message to barangay officials attending the 2-day seminar workshop on Barangay Drug Clearing Program Reorientation held at Municipal Function Room.
In his message, Mayor Shimura vows to intensify his campaign against illegal drugs, disclosing his projects and programs for CY 2020. These include the purchase of K9 dogs to detect illegal substances concealed by drug peddlers inside public utility vehicles; construction of Balay Silangan to serve as reformatory rehabilitation for drug offenders; and intensification of purok system to monitor and report illegal drug activities in the sitios.
The activity that kicks off today are graced by PDEA 7 Assistant Regional Director Thessa Tiuzen, Senior Officer Rotchilyn Viador, PDEA Staff Yessa Alino, DILG-MLGOO Grace Caburnay and MADAC Focal Grace Navarro. 11/18/19
