Mayor Sun Shimura, together with PNP Daanbantayan police chief PMAJ Marvin Inocencio, MLGOO Grace Caburnay and MADAC Focal Grace Navarro, on Thursday, January 26, 2023 conducted site visit to Balay Silangan Reformatory and Rehabilitation Center in Barangay Pajo.
The first phase of the project has been completed while construction of the second phase is ongoing with a budget P5.9 million.
Balay Silangan is a reformation center that will serve as temporary refuge for surrendered drug personalities with the objective of reforming them into self-sufficient and law-abiding members of society.
The project broke ground on March 2, 2020.
