To address the measles outbreak in Daanbantayan with 12 cases reported from January 2019 through the present, the Municipal Health Office (MHO) in coordination with the Department of Health (DoH) is conducting a massive information dissemination and immunization campaigns to encourage parents of 6 months old to 59 months old children to get vaccinated.
Rural Health Unit personnel have made the rounds of every sitios to conduct house to house measles immunization activities in the barangays. The vaccination and monitoring activities will be done until end of March to contain the measles outbreak.
