The center, measuring 6 by 8 meters, was funded through a DSWD-KALAHI CIDDS grant of ₱1,251,400 along with contributions from the municipal and barangay LGUs and the community, totaling ₱30,500.
Present at the ceremony were Malbago Barangay Captain Reynaldo Misa, barangay officials, KALAHI staff and volunteers, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), daycare workers, parents, pupils, and other community members.
