Forty-one (41) couples tie the knot in a civil mass wedding officiated by Mayor Sun Shimura on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Lamberto R. Te Sr. Cultural Center.
The ceremony, which was witnessed by the sponsors and families of the couples, included a wedding march, recital of marriage vows, exchange of rings and arras, eating of cake, and wine toast.
After the signing of marriage certificates, all 41 couples and their sponsors had the opportunity to pose for photo-ops with Mayor Shimura together with SB Member Wendell Rosell and PSA Registration Officer Jessah Cabasan who both graced the event.
Wedding gifts, cakes, wines and food bilao packages were given to the newly-weds. In addition, they will also receive wedding photo collage prints from the LGU.
The free wedding was made possible through the efforts of the Local Civil Registrar and Office of the Municipal Mayor.
