The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) together with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) awarded indemnity checks worth ₱248, 438.41 to forty-five farmers and fishermen today, October 27, 2023.
The government’s crop indemnity program through PCIC as the implementing agency provides insurance protection to agricultural producers against loss of crops and other agricultural project losses caused by natural calamities, plant pests, diseases, and other perils.
