The Municipality of Daanbantayan received a total amount P5.4 million financial assistance from the Capitol during the Caravan of Provincial Government Services held in the town of San Remigio on Tuesday afternoon, March 7, 2023.
The financial aid was for the various infrastructure projects of the mayor, vice mayor, and municipal councilors.
Gov. Gwen Garcia together with Board Member Kerrie Keane Shimura handed the checks to Mayor Sun Shimura, Vice Mayor Elver Ali Abucay, SB Member JupJup Rosell, SB Member Bridgette Tancawan, SB Wendell Rosell and SB Member Lolita Ybañez who were present at yesterday’s activity.
The Municipal Agriculture Office through Mr. Henry Rondina received the ECD-ATM cards and PCIC indemnity checks intended for farmers and fishermen beneficiaries. Also distributed were vitamins, seedlings, assistive devices, tilapia fingerlings, vegetable seeds, among others. Beneficiaries of which are barangay officials, tanod, lupon, PWDs, elderly, and barangay frontline workers.
Also present were PMAJ Marvin Inocencio, District I Supervisor Dr. Eva Casinillo, and
District II Supervisor Dr. Necifora Rosales.
