Mayor Sun Shimura led the blessing and inauguration of infrastructure projects and emergency response equipment this morning, February 27, 2025.
The newly completed projects include a warehouse, a motorpool facility, and a disaster risk reduction (DRR) rescue truck.
The warehouse, built with a budget of β±5,000,000, covers an area of 540 square meters and will serve as a space for storage and operational functions. The motorpool, also valued at β±5,000,000 and spanning 360 square meters, will provide a dedicated area for the maintenance of government service vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.
Additionally, the local government unveiled its new DRR rescue truck, which will play a crucial role in disaster preparedness and rescue operations, further enhancing the municipalityβs commitment to public safety.
