After a rigorous process and strict adherence to regulatory standards and documentation requirements, the Daanbantayan Rural Health Unit, headed by Municipal Health Officer Dra. Merle Visda, has finally earned accreditation from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) as a provider of its Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama or the PhilHealth Konsulta Package.
Under the Konsulta Package, PhilHealth members and dependents can avail of the expanded primary health care services that include targeted health risk screening and assessment, initial, and follow up consultations, drugs and medicines as needed by the patients and as recommended by their primary care physician.
In addition, a total of 21 drugs and medicines could be availed such as anti-microbial, anti-asthma, antipyretics, anti-dyslipidemia, anti-diabetic, and anti-hypertensive medicines, including fluids and electrolytes, anti-thrombotic, and anti-histamines.
The Konsulta Package is now available to PhilHeath members who are enlisted in RHU Daanbantayan.
