The Municipality of Daanbantayan received a total amount of P10.5 million financial assistance from the Capitol during the Caravan of Provincial Government Services held Wednesday, March 20 in Bogo City.
The financial grant was for the infrastructure projects of the mayor, vice mayor, and municipal councilors, The five barangay captains present at the caravan each got P200,000 financial assistance.
Gov. Gwen Garcia, together with Board Member Kerrie Keane Shimura, handed the checks over to Mayor Sun Shimura, Vice Mayor Elver Ali Abucay, and SB Member Mark Anthony Luche.
Aside from the financial grant and various free services provided by national line agencies, assistive devices, assorted seedlings,
ABAG Sugbo card, fingerlings, slippers, vitamins, Sugbo insurance, family food packs, and certificate of entitlement, among others were also distributed to the beneficiaries.
