Mayor Sun Shimura together with Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, Congresswoman Janice Salimbangon, Board Member Kerrie Keane Shimura, and other local chief executives from the 4th district commenced at the municipality of Tabogon for the Caravan of Cebu Provincial Government Services held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
Various assistance were distributed to thousands of beneficiaries such as school supplies to some of the 77,827 students and starter tool kits and allowances to Sugbo Kahanas graduates. Other beneficiaries like barangay officials, tanod, lupon, PWDs, elderly, and barangay frontline workers received vitamins, seedlings, assistive devices, tilapia fingerlings, vegetable seeds, among others.
The caravan, which brought provincial government services closer to people, also provided financial assistance to 4th district LGUs.
