LOOK: Mayor Gilbert Arrabis Jr. presented his executive agenda during the Sangguniang Bayan Inaugural Session on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, outlining a people-centered vision for his new term.
Key priorities include accessible healthcare; livelihood and employment for all sectors; efficient access to social services; investing in education through scholarship and skills training programs; real and sustainable peace and order; caravan of services (medical mission and legal aid); and environmental protection and disaster resilience. The mayor also expressed support for farmers, fisherfolk, solo parents, PWDs, and senior citizens, alongside infrastructure development and anti-corruption efforts.
Moreover, Mayor Arrabis announced the establishment of satellite mayor’s offices in Logon and Carnaza for better service delivery to the two island barangays.
“As we begin this new mandate, not just as your local chief executive but as your fellow Kandayanon, I am committed to one thing – gobyerno alang sa tanan,” he stated.
