Carnaza Water Desalination Blessing and Turnover

Barangay Carnaza residents now have access to sufficient and safe water supply as the blessing, turnover, and inauguration of water desalination facility for potable water supply happened Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at sitio Daanbarrio, Carnaza. Board Member Hon. Sun J. Shimura, accompanied by Councilor Ma. Bregidorietta M. Tancawan, led the ribbon cutting and turnover ceremonies which was witnessed by DILG-MLGOO Aida Ancajas, Municipal Engineer Marina Arcenal, municipal employees, and barangay officials, teachers and residents of Carnaza. Construction of the P7 million water desalination project covered under DILG’s Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) Program started in July of this year and was completed 3 months later. It can be recalled that the groundbreaking led by Mayor Vicente A. Loot was held last May 2018.
